Terms of Service

Last updated 6 September 2026.

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of mumblesstudio.co.uk and any services or digital products you buy from Mumbles Studio, a trading name of Jack James Hughesdon. By using the site you agree to these terms.

2. Services

We offer website builds, SEO audits, and ongoing website & SEO support. The specific scope, deliverables, timelines, and price for any engagement are set out in a separate written proposal or statement of work that you accept before work begins.

3. Digital products

Our digital products are downloadable spreadsheet templates and tools. When you buy a product, you receive a personal, non-exclusive licence to use it for your own business or household. You may not resell, redistribute, or share the file publicly. All sales are final; because the files are delivered instantly, we do not offer refunds except where required by law.

4. Quotes & payment

All prices shown on the site are indicative unless quoted directly to you. Quotes are valid for 30 days. Invoices are payable within 14 days unless agreed otherwise. Late payments may pause active work. Digital-product purchases are charged at the price shown at checkout and processed by Stripe. You will receive an email receipt and a secure download link after payment.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide the content, access, and feedback we need to deliver the work, and to confirm you have the right to any assets you supply (logos, copy, images). For digital products, you are responsible for keeping your download link and file secure.

6. Intellectual property

On full payment for services, ownership of the final deliverables transfers to you, except for third-party assets (fonts, stock images, plugins) which remain under their own licence, and for our pre-existing tools, templates, and know-how which we retain. Digital-product templates remain our property; you are granted a personal licence to use them.

7. Warranties & liability

We take reasonable care to deliver work to a professional standard, but do not guarantee any specific search ranking, traffic level, or commercial outcome. Digital products are provided "as is" for general use and are not a substitute for professional financial or legal advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement in the preceding 6 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Cancellation

Either party may end a services engagement with 14 days' written notice. You remain liable for work completed up to the termination date. Digital-product purchases are final and cannot be cancelled once the file has been delivered.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
